Citrus County Fire Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office had units on scene for a reported fire at Crumps Landing in Homosassa.
Crew members on scene were able to safely put out the fire. No one was injured during this unfortunate event.
The main tiki hut was destroyed in the flames, however.
Firefighters received the call at 11:45 a.m. for an initial propane fire that eventually spread.
Members of the public were asked to have patience when traveling this area, as first responders diligently workied to mitigate the fire and ensure the safety of those in the area.
