County government buildings remain open

Citrus County Government buildings remain open at this time, although services may be altered, modified or temporarily unavailable.

Please note all library branches have shifted to limited access, with drop-off of library materials and pick-up of pre-requested materials ONLY.

We are following COVID-19 Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and direction from the Florida Department of Health to keep our employees, their families and the community healthy.

If you can conduct your business with the county by phone or electronically please do so. If you are sick stay home. We will continue to monitor and update the public in a timely fashion as the situation changes. For more information visit www.citrusbocc.com.

  1. Tag office in Crystal River shut down Thursday 3pm in regards to one person being tested for the virus. Would it not be better to wait for the test results before shutting everything down.? Millions of people are choosing to be tested. It doesn’t mean that they have the virus.
