STEM Program resumes at library

The Citrus County Library System’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programming will resume this August.

Children are invited to participate in a learning exercise involving snap-circuits at the Lakes Region branch at 4 p.m. on Aug. 5.

A special “Summer Science” program will be held on at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 at the Lakes Region for interested children.

The Floral City branch hosts a weekly “Family Night @ the Library” program at 4:30 p.m. on Monday nights. These programs feature STEM learning opportunities as well as creative thinking activities.
