The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office on Friday released new information about the Crystal River woman arrested on Wednesday on drug-related charges.
The Florida Department of Corrections Probation & Parole Division responded to 2828 North Pennsylvania Ave. in Crystal River at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday to conduct an unannounced probation check.
Marian Walker was on state probation from an Aug. 8, 2012 conviction for possession of controlled substance. While at Walker’s home, State Probation located methamphetamine and a .22-caliber revolver. After finding the contraband, the probation officers notified the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
CCSO Deputies Reynolds and Hryc arrived, and notified the Tactical Impact Unit immediately that a large quantity of methamphetamine had been found in Walker’s possession. Members of the Tactical Impact Unit responded to the residence and obtained a search warrant.
A thorough search of Walker’s home and vehicle yielded two more firearms, a .357 Ruger, and a .380 Jennings. Several more baggies of methamphetamine were also found bringing the total weight of methamphetamine seized to approximately 100 grams, with an estimated street value of $10,000, the CCSO said on Friday.
In addition, anabolic steroid vials, Clonazepam, Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone, Xanax, Amphetamine Salts and Cannabis were also found in Walker’s home.
Other items seized from the home consisted of more than $2,200 in U.S. currency, numerous bills of counterfeit currency, laptop computers, printers and Foodstamp/EBT cards belonging to other individuals.
Walker is currently being held at the Citrus County Jail with no bond.
